Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup green cabbage, thinly sliced
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1/3 cup bean sprouts
  • 1/4 Vidalia onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 Tbsp red wine vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
  • Pinch celery seeds
  • Pinch crushed red pepper flakes
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Combine cabbage, peppers, bean sprouts, and onions in a large bowl.
  • Bring vinegar, olive oil, salt, pepper, celery seeds, and red pepper flakes to a boil in small saucepot.
  • Pour contents of saucepot over cabbage mixture. Stir well.
  • Enjoy hot, or cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 8 hours before enjoying cold.
