Sesame Crusted Tuna

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Tbsp black sesame seeds
  • 1 Tbsp white sesame seeds
  • 4 oz ahi tuna steak
  • 1 Tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
  • 2 cups baby spinach leaves
  • Salt and pepper

Instructions
 

  • In a shallow dish, combine black and white sesame seeds. Set to side.
  • Season tuna with salt and pepper and roll in sesame seed mixture, coating tuna evenly.
  • In a non-stick pan, warm olive oil until smoking. Place tuna in a pan and cook until white sesame seeds start to turn golden, about 1 minute.
  • Carefully turn tuna over and cook for about another minute.
  • Transfer tuna to a cutting board and cut into 1/4-inch thick slices.
  • Serve tuna with spinach leaves and use a favorite dressing.
