Pacific Calamari Salad

Ingredients
- 4 oz calamari, cleaned
- 2 cup arugula
- 8 cherry tomatoes, sliced
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- 1 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
- Pinch of ground ginger
- Pinch of garlic powder
- Pinch of dried basil
- Salt and pepper
Instructions
- Slice calamari into 1/4 inch rings and slice tentacles into pieces.
- In medium bowl, mix together lime juice, ground ginger, garlic powder, basil, salt, and pepper. Add calamari to the mix and marinate for 1 minute.
- Drizzle olive oil in a hot frying pan and add marinated calamari. Cook for 2-3 minutes tossing and stirring to cook evenly.
- Put mixed greens and sliced cherry tomatoes on a dinner plate.
- Take frying pan off heat and place calamari on top of mixed greens and tomatoes. Season as needed.
