Ingredients
  

  • 4 oz calamari, cleaned
  • 2 cup arugula
  • 8 cherry tomatoes, sliced
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 1 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil
  • Pinch of ground ginger
  • Pinch of garlic powder
  • Pinch of dried basil
  • Salt and pepper

Instructions
 

  • Slice calamari into 1/4 inch rings and slice tentacles into pieces.
  • In medium bowl, mix together lime juice, ground ginger, garlic powder, basil, salt, and pepper. Add calamari to the mix and marinate for 1 minute.
  • Drizzle olive oil in a hot frying pan and add marinated calamari. Cook for 2-3 minutes tossing and stirring to cook evenly.
  • Put mixed greens and sliced cherry tomatoes on a dinner plate.
  • Take frying pan off heat and place calamari on top of mixed greens and tomatoes. Season as needed.
